Holiday Deadlines for Custom Orders

With the holidays quickly approaching, we are now taking custom orders needed for gifts only if that production team member is able to complete it on time.  If you would like to order a custom product for someone this holiday season,  please contact us as soon as possible.  Our little elves will do everything in their power to get your bag out on time, but we need time to allow for cutting, sewing, and transporting between our facilities and back to you. 

We wish everyone a wonderful holiday and thank you all so much for supporting our transition from retail storefront to online!  Remember, as of today we will no longer be sending email updates but will stay in touch with you via our blog, events page, Facebook, and Twitter.  If you haven’t joined our Facebook page, click on the link on our homepage and you can sign up.  There is lots of fun interaction between the JC staff and our customers there, so join us!

Design for a Cure

As many of you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we at JennaClaire have always tried to find fun ways to raise money in support of the Women’s Wellness Fund.  The Women’s Wellness Fund was developed by the Kettering Medical Center Foundation & its generous donors.  The fund provides free mammograms and prostheses to uninsured and medically under-served women who qualify in the Dayton community.  Every year we have done something not only to raise money for the fund but in honor of our workroom manager Mary Z. Bach and her mother who are both breast cancer survivors.  The past two years we have sold fabric flower pins made by Mary herself, and this past May the JennaClaire staff proudly raised pledges and walked in the Walk for Women’s Wellness.  This year we want to raise money for this amazing fund by giving a portion of all online sales made throughout the month of October.  So whether you purchase one of our fabulous in-stock items or design you very own creation a portion of every bag/accessory sold will be donated to the Women’s Wellness Fund.  For more information on the Women’s Wellness Fund visit http://www.kmcfoundation.org.

New Endeavors…Boutiques to Carry Our Products!

We are excited for the future of JennaClaire as we transition from our retail business into specialty boutiques.  We look forward to bringing the style and functionality of our products to other stores that have a unique yet savvy fashion sense. Our readymade items will be available in boutiques, with custom design events with a JennaClaire stylist being held periodically in the stores.  Our products will be available mid-late October in the following boutiques; Cutie Patooties-specialty children boutique (located in Centerville, OH), Pinky Scout-trendy women’s & children boutique (located in Troy, OH), and Tindacor-custom clothing boutique (located at The Greene, Beavercreek, OH).

September 30, 2011: We are Moving!

It is bittersweet:  we have loved working with our customers and being tenants of The Greene.  However, we have decided to focus on bringing our products into specialty boutiques and focus on our website!  As of September 30th, we will close our studio at The Greene and prepare to bring our line of awesome readymade bags & accessories to the following stores:

Final Days to Bid on our Raffle Item!

Just 5 days left to buy your raffle tickets for this gorgeous “It’s A Cinch” bag!  All proceeds will benefit the Women’s Wellness Fund of Dayton, Ohio.  This organization provides mammograms, wigs, and other services to women who need assistance.  We love Women’s Wellness because 100% of their funds go directly to the women who need help.

Tickets may be purchased in our studio or by phone and are $1 each OR 7 tickets for $5.   Donations have been fantastic thus far!  The winning ticket will be drawn the day of the Walk for Women’s Wellness - Sunday, May 1st – and will be posted that day on Facebook.  If you wish to join us for the walk at Carrillon Park in Dayton please let us know!

If you live in the greater Dayton area, you really must check out the “Deals for Dayton” website.  I had the pleasure to meet Amy Walls, its founder and get to know about her and her blog.  A wife and mother of two darling little boys, Amy is an energetic person who has a passion for supporting local businesses (my kind of girl!) and sharing the great steals & deals she discovers with others.  She has visited our studio a few times and just today reviewed our purse organizer and our “FUMI” bracelets/purse hooks.  You can see the review by visiting Deals for Dayton’s website (www.DealsForDayton.com) or their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/dealsfor dayton).
