Love is in the air…and we thought we’d share what’s to LOVE about our fabrics.  Many of you comment that you are impressed with our fabric quality and selection.  We carry a great selection of trendier patterns and materials than you would expect a fabric bag to be comprised of.  Many of our customers love that we offer them a hip & fashionable alternative to leather for many reasons, including the weight of the bag (easier on the shoulders & back), or they simply prefer fabric over leather goods.  Either reason shouldn’t mean that you must compromise fashion or quality.

Which bring us to why our fabrics choices are one of the main reason women are drawn to our bags.  When we purchase materials, quality and durability are considered first and foremost.  We have a good idea what fabric contents wear well and which ones tend to pill or fade with use.  We will always guarantee your bag against unusual wear (remember, it IS a fabric bag so extra care should be taken).  Second, we consider fashion trends when purchasing each season.  Color, textures, and patterns all are researched.  Currently we are purchasing some metallics or fabrics with sheen (very popular & trendy now), brighter pastels, houndstooth, and solids with interesting textures.  Standard fabrics that we always like to have on hand include twills, lightweight cottons (for those baby accessories that must be washable!), polka-dots and ultrasuedes.

Spring 2010 include a variety of beautiful metallics, “flocked” materials,and  brighter pastels such as fushcias, purples, yellows, & greens. Not ready to try a bold color on the outside of your bag?  With our custom design process you can always use those fun colors as your lining or inner pockets- enjoy a pop of color when you open your bag!

Here are some FAQ’s about our fabrics:

-We only purchase fabrics with specific fiber content so it will remain durable for you.  As always, some of our fabrics will be more appropriate for evening bags than tote bags; we will guide you with your selection.

-Did you know some of our fabrics are imported from European designers, including such icons as Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli?

-We purchase our fabrics in relatively small quantities and replenish them frequently.  This is to insure that your bag remains a limited edition, a one-of-a-kind creation.

-We usually have over 100 fabrics in stock at any given time.  The possibilities are endless!

-Our studio offers monogramming.  If you are ordering online and wish to have something monogrammed, please call us directly and we can assist you with placing your order.  We hope to have this feature added to our website soon.
