Living in the Heartland- Book Signing Event
We were pleased to have Pamela Ferris Olson in the studio today for a book-signing event, featuring her new book “Living in the Heartland: Three Extraordinary Women’s Stories”. This book explores contemporary women and their search for identity, self-worth, and happiness.
A Dayton native and supporter of women entrepreneurs, Pamela is also an award-winning freelance writer and photographer. We will also have a small quantity of Pamela’s books available in the studio through the month of May ($15.99+tax). Makes a great Mother’s Day gift!

Introducing…”Tripley Sweet” Hair Accessories!
We’re proud to introduce a beautiful line of hair accesories for little girls, currently available in our studio location only. Independent designer Angie Turner from Columbus, Ohio has created a full line of hair clips and bows for us, using everything from silk flowers, felt flowers, grosgrain, and embellished stretchy & metal bands. You will flip when you see how DARLING these accessories are! Just in time for spring, you’ll want one of each. And priced $7-11, it’s an affordable way to add a little pizzazz to that cute spring outfit.
Being a mom to triplets, Angie began creating bows & headbands for them as a creative outlet & to help them display their own individuality. “I found that I LOVE designing hair accessories that are bright, colorful, fun and unique. My hope is you enjoy my products as much as I enjoy making and using them,” says Angie. From the terrific response we’ve seen from our customers, we have to say they feel the same way!
Doll & Me Tea Event
Wow, we had a GREAT time at our first session of the Doll & Me Tea, combined with Polished Etiquette & Image Development coach Peggy Hinshaw! I’m posting some pics of the event here so you all can see. We have a second session coming up this Sunday, April 18th at 1PM; limited seats are available so if you’re interested you’ll want to call soon for a reservation! A $25 deposit is required and will be applied to the $55 fee for the class.
These charming young ladies designed a bag for themselves and one for their doll, then participated in a “tea” session where they learned basics such as formal introductions, how to sit like a lady, proper tea etiquette, table conversation, shaking hands, and thank you notes. The girls left with wonderful goodies such as tiaras, balloons, lip balm, rings, pastries, and also their china teacup & saucer. What a fun afternoon!

Please Help Madigan and Her Family
Madigan Elizabeth Winemiller turned 2 on Jan 8th of this year -she is a beautiful and bright little girl that loves to play with her baby dolls and color pictures. Her parents are Molly and Brian Winemiller and they live in Sidney Ohio. On Feb 9th, 2010 Madigan was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer found in children. Please join us on March 27th as we come together to help this family in need. This is a family friendly event that will include great food and drinks, music provided by EGA Entertainment, cornhole tournament, many raffle items and a large selection of really nice silent auction items that you will not want to miss out on!
